Cookiepolicy.
This site sets one cookie of its own, to remember the choice you made in the banner. Analytics and marketing cookies are switched off by default and are not loaded before you turn them on. Nothing on the site is blocked while you decide.

What a cookie is here
A small text file that the site asks your browser to keep, so that something can be remembered between pages. The only thing this site needs to remember is the answer you gave in the cookie banner.
The cookie we set
Both are strictly necessary: one records your own choice, the other keeps the enquiry form from being abused. Neither tracks you across other sites and neither leaves our domain.
| Name | Purpose | Duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
| chipclash_cookie_choice | Stores your banner choice per category so you are not asked again | 180 days | First party, SameSite=Lax |
| PHPSESSID | Session cookie that carries the form token protecting the enquiry form | Until the browser closes | First party, SameSite=Lax |
Categories in the settings dialog
Strictly necessary. The two cookies above. These cannot be switched off, because the site cannot remember your choice or protect the form without them.
Analytics. Off by default. Would let us count visits and see which programmes get read. No analytics tag is loaded on this site today.
Marketing. Off by default. Would let us measure advertising. No advertising tag is loaded on this site today.
Consent defaults
Before you make a choice, ad storage, analytics storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are all set to denied, in line with Consent Mode v2. They change only if and when you allow the matching category.
There are no pre-ticked boxes, no cookie wall, no age gate and no consent by scrolling. Declining costs you nothing on this site: every page, the catalogue and the enquiry form work in full either way.
Changing your mind
Use the "Cookie settings" button in the footer of any page. It reopens the same dialog and your new choice replaces the old one immediately.
You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. If you delete ours, the banner will simply ask again on your next visit.
If JavaScript is off
No choice can be stored and no optional cookie is set at all. The site works in full without JavaScript, including the enquiry form, which is submitted and validated on the server.
If measurement is added later
Consent would be requested before any tag loads, and these two Google pages describe how Google handles data for sites that use its services:
