Velvet Vaultthree acts.

A heist-film evening in three acts: the crew assembles, the vault floor opens, the standings are read. Guests are issued a crew badge and a fixed stack of props chips, then work the casino-style tables for points under a six-metre vault door prop. Everything is offline, on your floor, and the chips stay in the room.

  • Guests: up to 200
  • Programme hours: 6 h
  • Setup: 5 h
  • Teardown: 2 h

What we can change inside the price

Table mix, the act structure, badge and standings wording, and the playlist can all be reworked inside the price. A second vault-door backdrop, a photo corner or a stage riser are quoted separately.

What guests actually do

  • Blackjack-style tables: the host deals, you play the hand, the points go on your own scorecard.
  • Roulette-style wheels: call a number or a colour, the host spins, the result is written down.
  • Poker-style ovals: fixed rounds of five hands, so a table turns over roughly every twenty minutes.
  • Vault photo point: the six-metre door with your crew badge, staffed so the queue never passes ten people.
  • Standings check: your position on the board, updated by hand between the acts.

The six hours, act by act

01

Act one, 60 min — doors, crew badges, chip issue, two open practice tables.

02

Act two, 180 min — the vault floor: all 8 tables run, points accumulate on the scorecards.

03

Act three, 60 min — the count: chips come back, the standings board is filled in and read out.

04

Floor time, 120 min — the floor stays open between acts for dance, supper service or speeches.

Questions about this evening

Is the vault floor gambling?

No. Every chip on the floor is a prop issued free at the door and counted back at the close. Chips cannot be bought or topped up and cannot be exchanged for money, goods, vouchers or valuable prizes; there are no stakes, no cash winnings and nothing online. The standings board is the only outcome. Entry is 18+.

Can we run Velvet Vault for 80 guests instead of 200?

Yes, and the price does not change. The figure covers the full rig, the crew and the six programme hours, so a smaller group gets shorter queues at the tables rather than a smaller bill.

What happens in the third act if people are still at the tables?

The floor manager calls the count fifteen minutes ahead and the tables close one at a time, so nobody is cut off mid-hand. The standings board is filled in while the last tables wind down.

Do we need a stage?

No. The reading of the standings is done from the floor with a handheld mic. If your venue already has a stage we will use it, and if you want one built, it is quoted separately.

Is the vault door prop safe against a low ceiling?

It needs 3.2 m of clear height. Below that we bring the 4 x 2.4 m flat version of the same prop instead, at no change to the price, and we confirm which one fits from your venue sheet.
